IP Server Manager (IPSM)

The IP Server Manager (IPSM) allows the Administrator to access and manage advanced server settings. It is installed at the same time as IP Server, and includes essential administrative functions such as:

  • Monitoring IP Server and indicating the status for each server.

  • Enabling a Diagnostic version of IPSM for troubleshooting and system optimization.

  • Managing IP Server network connections, Licensing and Registration.

  • Managing Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) and Active Directory configuration.

The IPSM icon resides in the Windows System Tray. It has two states:

ON: IP Server is active, streaming and recording video and reporting to Health Monitor Cloud (if available).

OFF: IP Server is not functioning. No video recording or streaming available.

Hover the mouse cursor over the icon in the taskbar to view the server’s IP Address.
