1. Add choices of sending interval of count data via MQTT/HTTP

The sending interval of count data can be set to less than 1 minute.

Note: Changes are underlined in the table below.

1. Measure score

Start/stop measurement of the maximum/minimum detection score.

On: start measurement

Off: stop measurement

 

2. Detection score (MAX/MIN)

Display the maximum/minimum detection score for objects (Human/Vehicle/Bicycle) while the measurement is running.

When there are different people or vehicles detected, consolidated score will be shown.

4. Support “Perpendicular angle mode" for multi-directional camera

5. Add alarm condition setting

Add “Judgement of movement distance” setting to AI-VMD alarm condition settings.

This menu will allow you to set the alarm threshold for moving objects.

Off

The alarm will be triggered even when the movement of the object is tiny. It can be used in scenes where the object moves from the back to the front and the camera tilt angle is shallow. Use this when detection is not possible even when "Low" is set.

Low

The alarm will be triggered even when the movement of the object is small. It can be used in scenes where the object moves from the back to the front and the camera tilt angle is shallow.

Middle

Default

High

The alarm will be triggered only when a significant movement of an object is detected,  which may be helpful when you want to reduce the number of false positive alarms caused by small movements.

When adjusting this setting, please use it after confirming the operation.

*1 To send alarm using MQTT, it is necessary to enable MQTT on the setting screen of camera settings. Information such as the destination server address and port number is set on camera settings.

3. Change identification sensitivity to identification threshold

Changed from "sensitivity" to "threshold" to allow for more intuitive adjustment by checking the detection score displayed on the demo screen.

*An alarm will occur when the "detection score" exceeds the "threshold".

*Example: If you want to suppress false negative alarms, adjust the "threshold" to a value lower than the "detection score" of the target object displayed on the demo screen.

Motion detection threshold : 1 - 8

Human/Vehicle/Bicycle identification threshold : 1 - 100

For “AI-VMD / AI People Counting for 360-degree fisheye”, it is possible to adjust the threshold values for head and whole body identification separately.

*Example: If you want to suppress false positive alarms for objects that are falsely detected as human heads, adjust the "Human identification threshold (head)" to a value higher than the “detection score”.

4. Add AI-VMD demo screen

Demo screen allows to check AI-VMD detection status and detection scores.

5. Add application operation status display for AI People Detection

Support checking the operation status of AI People Detection on the "Software mng." screen of the browser.

The initial status is "Application status: Stop", but when accessed with iCT or i-PRO Active Guard, it automatically changes to "Application status: Running".

To return to "Application status : Stop", you need to uninstall AI People Detection.

Please note that when "Application status: Running" is displayed, the frame rate is limited to 15fps for the following models.
