Creating a Rule

To start the process of Rule Creation, open VI MonitorPlus and select the Administration tab from the Main Menu, then click on Servers and, on the next menu, click on the Rules option.

Open

This will open the Rule Setup window.

From here, click the icon to on the Rules title (left panel).

Open

This will open the New Rule window.

The New Rule window contains four specific areas:

• Properties

• Schedule

• Trigger Events

• Actions

Each one of these areas has to be properly defined in order to create a valid and functioning Rule.
